Layar, the world’s largest platform in mobile augmented reality, has secured EUR €10 M in growth capital.The round sees Intel Capital enter as a shareholder whilst Prime Ventures expands its share. The investment allows Layar to continue to bring impactful augmented reality experiences into everyday life worldwide.

Cint, the company behind the leading SaaS-based global marketplace for market research sample, the Cint Panel Exchange (CPX), today announced that Prime Technology Ventures, –a Pan-European venture capital firm, leads a EUR 10m (USD 13m) round of new funding in Cint, with existing owners participating, among them Nordic venture capital firm Creandum.

Prime Technology Ventures is pleased to announce that it has sold its 43% stake in Nedstat (www.nedstat.com) to comScore. The total purchase price for Nedstat was approximately $ 36.7 million. comScore, listed on NASDAQ under symbol SCOR, is a global leader in measuring the digital world and preferred source of digital marketing intelligence. Prime Technology Ventures is the only institutional investor in Nedstat and provided growth capital in 2004 assisting Nedstat to develop its business to where it is today.

Alexander Ribbink, former Chief Operating Officer of TomTom (TOM2), the successful portable navigation devices company, has become a partner at Prime Technology Ventures, the Dutch and UK based venture capital firm.
