Layar, the world’s largest platform in mobile augmented reality, has secured EUR €10 M in growth capital.The round sees Intel Capital enter as a shareholder whilst Prime Ventures expands its share.
The investment allows Layar to continue to bring impactful augmented reality experiences into everyday life worldwide.
By investing in Layar, Intel Capital joins Prime Ventures and Sunstone Capital, who already funded the Amsterdam based firm in its first financing rounds.
The new funds will speed up the development op Layar’s app, software and platform and finance its continued geographical expansion.
