Prime Ventures closes fifth fund at Euro 254 million
Amsterdam – Prime Ventures has closed its last fund at Euro 254 million, the largest fund in its history. The fifth fund, more than 50% larger than the previous fund, was raised during a period of high profile exits including Takeway.com and Mendix.
Prime Ventures V, will invest according to the same strategy as its previous fund, making investments of Euro 10-35 million in fast growing (technology) companies across Europe. The fund has made four investments so far, of which two have been announced: Creative Group and Meero.
Prime Ventures has been active since 1999 raising in total approximately Euro 750 million, investing in more than 60 companies across Europe. The company invests in consumer focused companies, software companies and high tech companies. Prime Ventures is an independent partnership that operates from offices in the Netherlands and the UK.
