Thijs Emondts is a Partner who joined Prime Ventures in 2019.
Before joining Prime, Thijs spent 5 years at Uber as the GM for the Benelux region. Having joined Uber in the early days, he brings broad operating experience: building a leading marketplace with on-the-ground operations, managing through explosive growth, fighting competitive battles and how to structure and adapt an organization that shifts from start-up, to scale-up, to being a publicly listed company.
Thijs started his career in Investment Banking at Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse and holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc degree in Finance from the RSM Business School (Erasmus University) in Rotterdam.
Thijs currently serves on the boards of Vitesse, Orderchamp and Blueground, as well as being a board observer at CybelAngel.
